The centralized supply unit VE 02 for with withdrawing gas from mesa L-probe measuring devices and supplying them with a controlled direct current voltage is designed to suit the widest variety of measuring systems possible with the L-probe.

The supply unit has a high-precision power supply unit type NTV44 to feed the L-probe heating system and a measuring gas pump. The pump capacity can be adjusted by way of a needle valve integrated into the built-in flow meter.

The mating plugs (X2 and X3) installed on the left side are for hooking up the L-probe. A condensate seperator is likewise on the left side to remove any condensate which may occur. This must be emptied out when appropriate. There is also a coarse particle filter in the condensate seperator which must be replaced every half-year.

In the door there are integrated a gas flow meter, fine filter to protect the measuring gas pump and on-off switch.
